Page Processing Events

There is a way to view the page rendering and page processing events graphically.  The graphical view shows the order in which computations, processes, region rendering, validations, and branches are executed by the HTML DB engine.  This is called the Eventspage.  To view the events page, navigate to the page definition page for any application page.  Select the Events item in the View select list as shown in Figure 12.9 and click the Go button. 

Due to space constraints, only the Page Processing region of the Events page is shown in Figure 12.10. This is a great page to help developers understand the order of things.  Figure 12.10 shows the order of execution for logic controls executed when a page is submitted.
